Magic Statement : "Don't sale the life insurance, sale the benefits of life insurance"



1. 5 'YES' approach :

Make your customer say 'YES' 5 times after that if you sale your product in 6th time he wouldn't say "NO", just because it became a pattern to say "YES". It take much practice to be perfect in this approach.



It is a hypnotism model, some of the sales-man hypnotize their customer.

You Just Start with telling a story and let the customer feels familiar with you, make them laugh or smile with you. during this try to make them say "YES".


you can ask few questions like.

  • Do you want get successful in your life?.

  • Do you want to grow your business?


2. Begin with urgent problem:

Then start talking on the Biggest problem or the solution to that problem they have, then product will get sold easily. People used to says this need to get solved, that need to get solved.


Ask them questions you will get the problems they have.


If you want to find the best customer, then search a people surrounded by problem. You just start talking about their problems it is called "A.I.D.A." model

  • Attention

  • Interest

  • Desire

  • Action

Here, if you show him his biggest problem then you are all set up. Then show whatever you want to sale or explain. Describe his benefits how your product will solve his problem, like he desires the product and feel "Wow, I need it anyhow". Then he will take action by his own. This is "Attention Interest Desire Action".


3. Puppy Dog :

When a couple comes to buy a puppy dog, vendor always keeps it out side the cage, and hand over that puppy to wife.


Once His wife take that puppy into her hand, she feels it ans says : "Oh its so cute, my baby..." She gets so happy, and smile. When she takes that puppy in her hand it generates an experience.



Car showroom give trial to their customer, once he apply the accelerator "vroom vroom " he feels this is what "I wanted".


This is Experience Approach, Experiential Marketing, Freemium, Product Demo, Sampling.

For example

  • Colgate 50gm pack is of ₹20, and 150gm pack is of ₹90 ( this should be 20gm * 3 = ₹60)

  • Fair & Lovely : 15gm pack is of ₹20, and 25gm pack is of ₹50

  • Ponds power : 25gm pack is of ₹10, and 50gm pack is of ₹39


"Try before you buy , will never keep your brain fry"

4. Pressure sales technique:

"Hard to get" or "Limited edition" or "Out of stock"


"Either you have sense of urgency today or you've got sense of regret tomorrow."

it is called "Take away close approach" this makes customer feel "Oh god I will loose this deal, someone else might buy this before me".


"whatever you already have you never care. but what you feel you can loose you start value that."

5. Hidden command:



Tell you customer 2 or 3 special feature or things about your product that your competitor don't have. He will go to your competitor and ask the same things, get the NO in response, he will feel explosion everywhere in his mind "I wont get it somewhere else". He will definitely return back to you.


6 Fundraising v/s friendraising :



you can not buy a mobile phone from any stranger on road, but you can buy the same phone from your friend.

It involves:

  • Personalized approach

  • Human Aspect

  • Relationship sales

  • Trust

"My Name is sweeter than the Honey"

example : shopkeeper call his customer with their name, let his customer feel special.

"Gupta G aaiye, aaiye" or "HI Gupta Ji, please come"
